BOYS TO WATCH

MARK MUTZ, LAKELAND CHRISTIAN, SR.: Finished tenth in the state, won the regional and district title and placed second in the county meet. 

JOSE PEREZ, HAINES CITY, SR.: State qualifier who finished second at regionals and third in the county meet. 

TONY MARTINO, ALL SAINTS ACADEMY, SR.: State qualifier who finished 10th at regionals. 

RA BEMMAN, ALL SAINTS ACADEMY, SR.: State qualifier who finished fifth at regionals and fifth in the county meet. 

GIRLS TO WATCH

JESSICA ORTIZ, LAKE REGION, SR.: Last year's runner of the year; won the county meet and finished 8th at regionals and 38th at states.

EMILY NABONG, LAKE REGION, SR.: Finished 20th at regionals and ninth at the county meet. 

HANNAH LIPPINCOTT, MCKEEL, SO.: Placed sixth at the county meet and 18th at regionals.

REBECCA EAVES, LAKELAND CHRISTIAN, SR.: Finished 16th at regionals and fourth at the county meet. 

PHOEBE FERGUSON, LAKELAND, JR.: Placed eighth in the county meet and 26th at regionals.

DISTRICT TOURNAMENTS: Oct. 31- Nov. 5.
