Steven Phelps shot a meet low 36 Thursday at Lake Wales Country Club to help McKeel take down Frostproof and Lake Gibson. Rocky Hirsch, also of McKeel, was close behind his teammate and shot a 37. With the win the Wildcats are a perfect 18-0 on the season.

At Schalamar Creek (Lakeland)

George Jenkins and Auburndale tied at 159 a piece at Schalamar Creek in Lakeland on Thursday. Garrett Burham shot a 37 and Kyle Jenkins a 38 for the Eagles; however, Nick Hanif struggled at the course shooting a 44. That allowed All Saints Brenton Williams, Juliand Davis and Steven Pike's rounds of 40 help the Saints rally back and tie Jenkins. Zane Smith shot a meet low 35 for the Bloodhounds but didn't have much support and his team finished third with a 163. Seamus McHugh, of Santa Fe, shot a 37.
