2- Winter Haven sophomore James Voisard captured the Class 2A, Region 3 diving championship Friday by racking up 471.25 points in the 11-dive meet.
3- Lakeland senior running back Taylor Placides rushed for 188 yards and two touchdowns Friday in the Dreadnaughts' district title game over Ridge Community.
4- Victory Christian senior running back Ricky Pierre rushed for 191 yards and two touchdowns on Friday in the Storms' district title game over Santa Fe Catholic.
5- Lakeland senior outside hitter Rachel Martin had 25 kills and 12 digs in a regional quarterfinal volleyball match Nov. 1 to help the Dreadnaughts advance to the second round of the playoffs.
6- Tenoroc junior Darius Frasier rushed for 122 yards and scored twice in a win over Mulberry on Friday.
7- Haines City senior Jose Perez won his first district title Nov. 3 in the Class 3A, District 7 meet. He ran a 16:41.57 to advance to the regional championship.
8- The Lake Region girls' cross country team, led by Jessica Ortiz and Emily Nabong, won its fourth consecutive Class 3A, District 7 title Nov. 3. Ortiz finished in 21:15.55, Nabong in 21:24.92.
9- Landmark Christian freshman Keland White rushed for 161 yards and scored on runs of 52 and 71 yards. He also threw a 63-yard touchdown pass to help put the Patriots over Shorecrest Prep 26-7.
10- George Jenkins junior Trent Rains rushed for 176 yards and a touchdown against Haines City on Friday.
