1 Lakeland junior defensive end Jalen Stevenson broke the single-season school sack record Friday after registering three against Kathleen. He has 18 so far this season. The previous record holder was Chauncey Clark, who had 17 in 1999.

2 McKeel Academy's boys cross country team finished second at the 1A Region 3 race in Largo. The team qualified for the state meet, which will be Saturday.

3 Landmark Christian freshman running back Nydarius Roberts rushed for 218 yards and a touchdown in the Patriots' 51-6 playoff win over Ocala Christian on Friday.

4 Fort Meade sophomore Jay Smith threw for 194 yards and had two touchdowns Friday against Tenoroc.

5 Kathleen senior running back Terry Bentley rushed for 118 yards and one touchdown against Lakeland on Friday.

6 George Jenkins senior Karla Thiele had 32 digs and 11 kills in a regional volleyball semifinal against Lakeland on Nov. 8.

7 Mulberry senior Leslie Young Jr. rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown against Haines City on Friday.

8 Winter Haven senior Levi Borders threw for 208 yards and four touchdowns Friday against Lake Region.

9 Lakeland Christian senior T.J. Simmons rushed for 135 yards and six touchdowns Friday against Santa Fe Catholic.

10 Lakeland senior quarterback Raheeme Dumas rushed for 116 yards and threw for 117 against Kathleen on Friday.
