MLK Holiday Classic Girls' Basketball Tournament

Winter Haven is hosting the MLK Holiday Classic girls' basketball tournament Friday and Saturday. Three of the top local teams will play, including Bartow, Haines City and Winter Haven. The schedule follows.

Friday

3 p.m. — Barron Collier (Naples) vs. Father Lopez (Daytona Beach)

4:30 p.m. — Orlando Christian Prep vs. Lafayette (Mayo)

6 p.m. — Buchholz (Gainesville) vs. Bartow

7:30 p.m. — American Heritage (Plantation) vs. Winter Haven

9 p.m. — Northwestern (Miami) vs. Haines City

Saturday

Noon — Lafayette (Mayo) vs. Barron Collier (Naples)

1:30 p.m. — Clearwater vs. Treasure Coast

3 p.m. — Father Lopez vs. Northwestern (Miami)

5 p.m. — Riverview (Sarasota) vs. Bartow

6 p.m. — Haines City vs. American Heritage (Plantation)

8 p.m. — Winter Haven vs. Buchholz (Gainesville)
