Tremendous Ten: Victory's Michelle King Logs 51 Points, 27 Rebounds in a Game

1- Victory Christian senior forward Michelle King scored a career high 51 points and had 27 rebounds against All Saints on Jan. 12. King is averaging 29.6 points per game.

 

2 - George Jenkins senior Sean Whalen scored seven goals and had two assists last week in three soccer games for the Eagles.

3 - Bartow junior shooting guard Zykira Lewis scored in double digits in three girls basketball games last week against three of the top teams in the state: 15 against Haines City, 25 against No. 1 Buchholz and 25 vs. Sarasota Riverview.

4 - McKeel wrestler Dakota Rehbien went 7-1 at the Viper Duals this past Saturday. His only loss was to fifth-ranked Phillip Gross from Cocoa Beach. He improved his record to 37-5.

5 - George Jenkins senior shooting guard Chris Burgess led the Eagles to four straight wins last week. He averaged 23.5 points and 5.7 assists per game during the stretch.

6 - Winter Haven guards Destynee Arnold and Cynkeria Mobley helped the Blue Devils to a 2-2 record last week, with close losses to No.1 Buchholz and Plantation American Heritage. Mobley had 22 points against Buchholz, 18 against American Heritage and Arnold averaged eight assists.

7 - George Jenkins' senior forward Tori Abnathy and sophomore midfielder Jessie Scarpa scored three goals apiece in the Eagles' regular-season finale on Jan. 11.

8 - Lakeland senior wrestler Kevin Miller was named the most outstanding lightweight wrestler at a tournament hosted by the Dreadnaughts on Saturday.

9 - Landmark Christian sophomore guard Jawuan Mathis had 21 points and five assists Jan. 10, against St. Stephen's Episcopal.

10 - Haines City junior guard Brekia Henderson had 15 points against Northwestern and five steals against American Heritage last week.
