Hardee Knocks Off Frostproof In 2A-10

FROSTPROOF | Frostproof fell 3-2 in the Class 2A, District 10 finals to Hardee on Thursday.

Not all hope is lost for the Bulldogs since they still move on in the playoffs with a second-place finish.

Frostproof led for most of the contest after early goals by Rhett Foley and Tito Alvarado. Foley's goal was the first of the evening as he scored on a rebound off a shot by Robert Aguilar.

Alvarado netted the second goal unassisted.

The Bulldogs carried a 2-1 lead until late in the second half when Hardee tied the bout.

Frostproof plays the winner of tonight's Clearwater Central Catholic and Berkeley Prep game.
