Lake Wales Coach Rod Shafer Named South Coach for All-Star Game

Lake Wales coach Rod Shafer has been selected as a coach for the 58th Annual Florida Athletic Coaches' Association All-Star Football Classic, which is taking place next December.

Shafer was named the "South" coach on Tuesday. The FACA selects the top 72 football players to compete in the classic, which will take place at Fireman's Field in Sebring on Dec. 19.
