Tremendous Ten: Lake Wales' Sabria Hadley Claims Gold, Silver and Bronze

1 - Lake Wales junior sprinter Sabria Hadley played spoiler Saturday at the Class 2A state track and field meet, denying Miami Jackson's Robin Reynolds her 15th state title by winning the 200-meter dash in a personal-best 24.07 seconds. Hadley also placed third in the 100-meter dash (12.38) and ran the second leg on the second-place 4x100 meter relay team.
2 - Tenoroc senior Travis Tucker took fourth place in the 100 (10.97), fifth in the 200 in 21.90 and 14th in the long jump with a leap of 18 feet 21/2 inches at the Class 1A state track meet last week.
3 - Lakeland Christian senior Mark Mutz finished fourth at the Class 1A state meet in the 3,200-meter race on Friday, completing the event in a season best 9:27.25.
4 - Bartow junior pitcher Lauren West helped lift her team to two Class 7A regional softball wins, pitching shutouts in both contests last week. West (16-2) struck out 20 in 14 innings, giving up seven hits in the outings. Bartow is headed to the state tournament after beating Kissimmee Osceola on Wednesday.
5 - Lake Wales junior pitcher Taylor Cockrell struck out 10 in the Class 5A, District 10 championship game against Auburndale on April 26. Cockrell has a .875 ERA and a .404 batting average.
6 - Lakeland Christian freshman Ben Andress went 2-for-3 with a stolen base and two runs scored in the Class 3A, District 7 championship game against Fort Meade on Friday.
7 - George Jenkins sophomore Caleb Leach hit the game-tying home run and threw out the last runner in the Class 7A, District 7 title game against Haines City on April 26.
8 - Bartow junior Cheyenne Blaha went 4-for-6 with three runs, one RBI and a triple in two regional final games last week. Blaha, a left fielder, is averaging .379 this season with a .500 on base percentage.
9 - All Saints senior Erika Fox went 2-for-2 with two walks and four runs in a Class 2A regional semifinal win over Palm Bay Covenant Christian on Friday. All Saints lost its playoff game on Tuesday, and Fox finished the season with a .571 batting average.
10 - All Saints' senior pitcher Carson Fulmer tossed a five-inning no-hitter to help his team to a 15-0 victory over Sonrise in the Class 2A, District 7 championship on April 26.
