Hardee Edges Bartow, 21-17, on Fourth Quarter TD

WAUCHULA | Aaron Barker's 29-yard touchdown run with 6:06 left in the game led the Hardee Wildcats to a 21-17 spring-football win over Bartow Friday night.
It was Barker's second TD of the night. He also scored on a 5-yard run in the first quarter that gave the Wildcats a 7-0 lead.
Bartow's Dimitri Leverette tied it early in the second quarter with a 5-yard TD run of his own before a 2-yard scoring run by quarterback Jacob Bolin with 29.9 seconds left in the half gave the Wildcats a 14-7 halftime lead.
Bartow scored 10 points in the span of two minutes to take a 17-14 lead early in the third quarter. Alex Montes kicked a 40-yard field goal, then one play after Johnathan Battle intercepted a pass, Leverett connected on a 42-yard touchdown pass to Jeremy Williams.
