Third Annual Polk Basketball Alumni Tournament

Livingston Chatman, a former basketball standout at Kathleen, and LeDarion Jones and Alvin Pearsall, Bartow alums, will suit up Saturday for a basketball tournament featuring basketball players from Polk County's past.

The event, which features players who graduated before 1998, is taking place at Simpson Park starting at 9 a.m., said Don Skipper, the event organizer and current head coach at Ridge Community High School. The entry fee is $4 and profits will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Winter Haven.

The event is in its third year.
