Each year, Polk County produces several football players who are sought after by, and eventually sign scholarships with, football programs around the country.

This year along, there are more than 100 former Polk County high school stars who are playing for NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision (Division 1-A) programs.

In an effort to identify the top senior prospects in the county, PolkPreps.com selects its Super 16 prospects each year.
