CHIEFLAND | A late touchdown pass from Josh Smith to James Corbin provided the decisive score in Chiefland's 41-27 win over Victory Christian Friday night at Wayne Pridgeon Stadium in Chiefland.

Storm receiver Brice Ford brought Victory Christian to within one score late in the fourth quarter after breaking a hitch route into a 47-yard touchdown. But the Indians marched down the field on the next drive, scoring on Corbin's over-the-shoulder basket catch.

It looked like Chiefland might run away with the game after building a 35-15 lead with nine minutes left in the fourth quarter. But Victory Christian responded with a kick-off return touchdown by Jaylen McKinney.

First Quarter

VC: McKinney kick-return touchdown
