BARTOW | Bartow showed that special teams can be special Friday night.
In a game filled with penalties, a couple of early big plays, and several big plays that didn't happen, it was the play of Bartow's special teams that provided the difference in the Yellow Jackets' 27-7 win over Auburndale at Bartow Memorial Stadium.
Alex Montes made field goals of 46 and 42 yards, averaged 42.5 yards on four punts and Romante Bell recovered a blocked Auburndale punt in the end zone for a touchdown for the Yellow Jackets.
