Patriots Too Much For Hawks To Handle: Landmark 52, Santa Fe 0

HAINES CITY | Santa Fe Catholic was simply overmatched in its opener on Friday night as it was shut out by Landmark Christian 52-0.
Seven different Patriots found the end zone and it was over quickly for the Crismon Hawks.
Landmark Christian raced to a 33-0 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Dornell Anglin got the scoring started with a 54-yard punt return for a touchdown less than two minutes in. Keland White and Nydarius Roberts added touchdown runs of 73 and 56 yards respectively during the big first quarter.
"I like how we came out in the first quarter with intensity and we carried that throughout I thought", said Landmark Christian head coach Mark Burdon.
Quarterback Seth Johnson was an efficient on 5-for-6 passing for 52 yards and three touchdowns. Two of Johnson's touchdown tosses went to R.B. Marlow III while the other went to Jawuan Mathis.
The Patriots' defense stymied the Crimson Hawks holding them without a first down and to just four total yards while forcing five turnovers.
Four different Patriots recorded an interception. Like Anglin, Justin Simpkins finished the night with a pick and a punt return for a touchdown.
"We come out here and we play as a team and we all have each other's back", said Simpkins.
"I think I played good. I just came out here for my teammates and my family", added Anglin. "I like how we kept coming and playing hard".
Landmark (2-0) opens conference play against Merritt Island Christian next Friday.
