1 - Winter Haven senior running back Adam Lane rushed for 194 yards and two touchdowns against Haines City on Friday night. Lane, who has committed to Florida, missed all of last season with a knee injury.

2 - George Jenkins senior defensive lineman Tanner Reeves tallied five sacks in a 20-18 loss to Kathleen Friday night.

3 - Bartow senior golfer Jack Brown shot a 33 in a tri-match on Sept. 4.

4 - Bartow kicker/punter Alex Montes made field goals of 46 and 42 yards and averaged 42.5 yards in 4 punts in Bartow's 27-7 win over Auburndale Friday night.

5 - Lake Gibson senior running back Tyler Brown rushed for 175 yards on 26 carries and also scored a touchdown in the Braves' 21-10 win over Lake Wales.

6 - Kathleen junior receiver Ja'Von Harrison helped Kathleen rally from an 11-point defect against George Jenkins Friday night. He hauled in a 75-yard touchdown pass and then set the Red Devils up in the red zone for the go-ahead score after catching a 38-yard pass.

7 - Lake Gibson freshman golfer Amanda Gartrell shot a one-under-par 35 in a four-team match against George Jenkins, McKeel and Ridge Community on Tuesday, Sept. 4.

8 - The George Jenkins boys and girls swim teams won the Blackman Invitational Relay Meet on Saturday, Sept. 8th. They won 12 of 21 events.

9 - McKeel's boys golf team set a school record by shooting a 146 on Thursday against Lake Wales and Sebring. Cole Berger shot a 35, Steven Phelps a 36, Rocky Hirsch a 37, and Will Trimble a 38.

10 - Lakeland Christian senior Stephen Mutz beat two state qualifiers from Sebring to finish first in the 1-meter diving event on Tuesday, Sept. 4.
