WINTER HAVEN | In the first ever "Battle of the Polk Parkway" the Geneva offense would be considered Seal Team Six.
Clay Spece ran three times for 72 yards and a touchdown, Matt Hazelton gained 67 yards rushing on 10 carries and completed a touchdown pass and Nick Strazulla ran three times for 52 yards and a score.
Ethan Whitehurst added a 53 yard receiving touchdown and Daniel Hornsby got in on the passing action with a touchdown of his own.
Simply, without large numbers, Geneva got it done — in a big way.
Matt Hazel led the Knights in tackles with seven and also had two sacks. Sam Lynn added five, four of those in the opposing backfield.
Strazzulla and CJ McIlroy each had an interception.
It get's easier for the Knights next week, as they don't even have to play to get a forefit win.
Oasis takes on Hillsborough Baptist.
