Patriots Romp Merritt Island for 14th-Straight Win, 53-7

Haines City | It took just a few offensive series and the Landmark Christian Patriots had another game under control, routing Merritt Island Christian 53-7 in their first conference game of the season Friday night at Patriot Field.
Keland White scored three rushing touchdowns and finished with 154 yards on nine carries.
"He's a big-time player for us, and of course we rely on him very much in our offense," Patriot Head Coach Mark Burdon said.
Landmark, the defending Sunshine State Athletic Conference champions, entered the game with a 13-game winning streak, their last loss being Sept. 16, 2011.
Dornell Anglin brought the home town crowd of 300 to their feet when he returned a second-quarter interception 97 yards for a touchdown. It was the first of two interceptions for Anglin.
Next week the 3-0 Patriots host Master's Academy of Vero Beach at 7:30pm.
