Tremendous Ten: Noe Guillen Hits Three Long Field Goals in Mulberry's Win

1 - Noe Guillen, Mulberry, football: The junior had field goals of 44, 47 and 50 yards in Mulberry's 16-6 victory over Frostproof on Friday. His kicks were more impressive considering the conditions: wet and muddy.
2 - Adam Lane, Winter Haven, football: Lane had a big night rushing on a big stage Sept. 20. In a Class 6A, District 10 game aired on Bright House Sports Network, Lane rushed for 228 yards on 20 carries against Kathleen. He also scored a touchdown for the Blue Devils (4-0).
3 - Auburndale's Defense: The squad held Ridge to seven points Friday in a 25-7 upset victory. Daryle Henry returned an interception 64 yards for a touchdown, Wilshonn Jefferson and Kahlin Boatfield each had a sack and Derwin James caused a fumble. Lucien Menard had three tackles for losses, and Demetrius McNair added two tackles for loss and a sack.
4 - Rocky Hirsch, McKeel, Golf: Shot a 31 in a tri-match Sept. 20 against Lake Gibson and Auburndale at Schalamar Creek. Mckeel posted a score of 146 with Hirsch, Cole Berger (36), Steven Phelps (38) and Nick Kresl (41) to make it to 8-0 this season.
5 - Ladarius Clark, Fort Meade, Football: The eighth-grader had the game-winning interception against Bartow on Friday. Fort Meade defeated the Yellow Jackets 12-10, and Clark picked off Dimitri Leverett with 2.3 seconds left to seal the victory.
6 - Trent Rains, George Jenkins, Football: The senior rushed for 96 yards and a touchdown in a 20-0 victory over Lake Region Friday. It was the team's first win since 2010.
7 - Dakarial Scott, Lake Wales, Football: Had a sack, an interception and recovered a fumble in a 19-14 win over Immokalee on Friday. Teammate Tate Mathewson sealed the victory for the Highlanders when he kicked a 41-yard field goal with 8:17 left in the third quarter.
8 - Isaiah Walker, Lakeland, Football: The senior quarterback scored four touchdowns in a 35-0 rout over Haines City on Friday. He only carried the ball five times. Walker, a first-year starter under center, also threw for 157 yards, completing 10 of 14 passes.
9 - Trent Farrow, Lake Wales, Golf: Shot a 38 in a match against Avon Park Sept. 20. It was Farrow's second round in the 30s this year.
10 - Erin Wibert, George Jenkins, Volleyball: Had four aces, seven kills and three blocks to help the Eagles hand Winter Haven its first loss of the season Sept. 17.
