Lake Wales' Sabria Hadley Picks Up Track Offers

Sabria Hadley, the state champion in the 200 meters in Class 2A last year, has been offered full athletic track scholarships from Miami and Clemson, her father said.

Hadley made official visits to both schools over the course of the last month and says she will make her decision soon.

"Coach (Amy) Deem of Miami was the first one to visit Sabria after the first official contact date and she spent five hours here in Lake Wales," Sammy Hadley said. "She told her she reminded her of the sprinter Lauryn Williams."

Williams is a two-time Olympic medalist.

Hadley ran the 100, 200 and 4x100 relay races at the state meet. She took home three medals.
