WINTER HAVEN | The stage was set for All Saints' Academy.
First-time ever playing Temple Christian, homecoming night and the largest crowd of the season at 400.
The Saints didn't hold anything back as they defeated Temple Christian (Titusville) 57-0 Friday night.
Running back Troy MacNeill had five rushing touchdowns on 15 carries and compiled 85 yards.
"We found our groove, we can run the ball," All Saints head coach Gary Tufford said.
The backfield was nearly unstoppable for All Saints, and it wasn't just MacNeill who had a stellar game.
In the first half alone, Dwight Drayton had six carries for 127 yards — featuring an 82 yard rush.
"The triple threat in our running game, with some deception is working well for us", Tefford added.
Drayton also returned an interception 60 yards for a score late in the game.
All Saints broke out to an early 28-0 lead in the first quarter, and extended that to lead 42-0 at the half.
Quarterback Patrick Fox 6 for 11 for 85 yards and a touchdown in the second quarter to Edric Bennett.
The Saints defense held Temple (0-6) to just four first downs and — even more impressive — negative 28 yards rushing on 11 attempts.
They secondary allowed just eight completions for 130 total yards. That to go along with four forced fumbles, two recovered.
All Saints (3-2) is idle next week and will play host to Legacy High School after it's bye.
