All Saints Names Aubrey Whitaker New Boys Basketball Coach

Aubrey Whitaker will replace Steve Canlon as the head boys basketball coach at All Saints' Academy this season and Bob Lepre replaces Adam Burke as the girls basketball coach.

Canlon was the head coach for 11 years and finished with a 170-114 record.

"Because of my expanded duties at school I am unable to give the program my 100 percent," Canlon said.

Whitaker has been coaching high school basketball for over 20 years, inlcuding stints at Lake Highlands Prep School in Orlando, Lake Wales, and Frostproof. Canlon said he has taken his teams to four state final fours and two state runner ups. He has been named coach of the year 10 times in his career.

Lepre has coached at Lake Wales, Lake Region and Webber International University.
