Brent Brenneman, a sophomore wide receiver and safety for Lakeland Christian who broke both legs during the team's game against Evangelical on Sept. 14, won't play football the rest of this season but is hopeful that he will be able to play basketball.
The injuries occurred when Brenneman was blocking on a kick return in the first quarter. He had three breaks in his right leg and is still in a wheelchair.
"I'm hoping to play basketball," said Brenneman. "Some people want me to play football next year, others aren't sure, but I'm going to wait to make the decision."
