Tremendous Ten: Winter Haven's James Voisard Set County Diving Record

1 - James Voisard, Winter Haven: Scored 308.5 points with six dives on Friday to break the county record of 295.5 points set by Matt Reiter of Auburndale in 2007.
2 - George Jenkins girls' swim team: Broke the 200 freestyle relay record at the county swim meet on Saturday. The swimmers were Rachel Lulf, Hope Saunders, Kyleigh Firman and Lucy Muller.
3 - Athena Yang, Winter Haven: The freshman fired a 2-under-par 70 on Oct. 15 to claim the Class 2A-8 District title. Yang, who advanced to the state tournament Monday, also won the county title.
4 - George Jenkins boys golf team: Won the Class 2A, District 8 tournament Oct. 15, for the third straight year. The team had 305 points behind Steven Hancock (75), T.J. Wright (76), Kyle Jenkins (76) and Hayden Hill (78).
5 - Christian Alexander, Lakeland Christian: Accounted for five touchdowns, four through the air and one on the ground. Finished with 347 yards passing in a close loss on the road to Fort Meade.
6 - Shykeem Pitts, Ridge Community: Completed two passes, caught two passes, ran for a 10-yard TD and intercepted a pass.
7 - Marcus Bobb, Frostproof: Had three interceptions, one he returned 108 yards for a TD in a win over Cardinal Mooney.
8 - Keland White, Landmark Christian: Rushed for 140 yards on 20 carries and scored two touchdowns for the Patriots, one on an 11-yard run play and the other on a 70-yard kickoff return Friday in a 53-28 win over Victory Christian.
9 - Tyler Brown, Lake Gibson: Rushed for 110 yards and four touchdowns in a come-from-behind win at Bartow, scoring the final three touchdowns of the game.
10 - Trayvon Howard, Ridge: Ran for 152 yards including scoring runs of 65 and 42 yards in a district victory over Lake Region.
