Tremendous Ten: Lake Gibson's Trey Congdon Has a Banner Game in Loss

1 - Trey Congdon, Lake Gibson: The junior quarterback threw for 268 yards and accounted for five touchdowns (four passing, one running) in a 49-42 Class 6A regional quarterfinal loss to Daytona Beach-Mainland on Friday.


2 - Jordan Smith, Lake Gibson: The senior wide receiver totaled 126 yards on six receptions while adding two touchdowns for the Braves.

3 - Autumn Gore, Lakeland: The sophomore midfielder scored seven goals and had one assist in two games last week. She scored three in a 7-0 win over Santa Fe Catholic on Nov. 12, and four against Haines City on Nov. 14.

4 - Oscar Rosales, Mulberry: The junior had three goals to lift Mulberry over Lake Wales 4-2 on Nov. 12. He also had a goal in the Panthers' district win over Avon Park on Nov. 15.

5 - Christin Strawbridge, Kathleen: The senior center posted 17 points and brought down 16 rebounds in 51-35 girls basketball win over Lake Region on Nov. 13.

6 - Damara Harsin, Ridge Community: The sophomore had six saves Nov. 14 against Lake Region in her third shutout of the year. Harsin has 43 saves this year.

7 - Adam Lane, Winter Haven: Tallied 153 yards on 24 carries to help lift Winter Haven over New Smyrna Beach 24-20 in a Class 6A regional quarterfinal game on the road. Lane, who has 1,485 yards rushing this season, also scored on a 58-yard touchdown run in the victory.

8 - Eric Carter, Lake Gibson: Caught eight receptions for 88 yards and three touchdowns Friday.

9 - Jay Smith, Fort Meade: The junior quarterback was 12 for 21 with 154 yards and two touchdowns in a Class 3A regional quarterfinal loss to Tampa Catholic 24-23 on Friday.

10 - E'Shawn Davis, Ridge Community: Scored two rushing touchdowns to help Ridge beat Harmony 24-0 on Friday in a Class 7A regional quarterfinal game at home. He only carried the ball five times.
