Tremendous Ten: Auburndale's Hunter Dowdy Swept Two Meets Last Week

1 Hunter Dowdy, Auburndale: The 132-pound senior wrestler finished the week with a 10-0 record, taking first place at the Commissioner's Cup at Lakeland on Friday and the Massung Duals at McKeel Academy on Saturday. He is 30-3 on the season.



2 Chase Krutzky, Lake Gibson: The 145-pound senior wrestler went 5-0, winning the Falcon Duals in Dunedin on Saturday. He pinned the No. 8 ranked Jacob Nolen of Citrus.



3 Chance McSpadden, Winter Haven: The sophomore guard scored 29 points to lead Winter Haven to a 66-59 Class 6A, District 9 win over Kathleen on Friday.



4 Douglas Brooks, Lake Wales: The senior guard scored 24 points, with six rebounds, four steals and two assists to lead Lake Wales to an 80-78 win over Auburndale on Jan. 8.



5 Dorian Spradlin, Lake Gibson: The senior 170-pound wrestler went 5-0, winning the Falcon Duals in Dunedin on Saturday. He beat No. 7 ranked Brian Beardon of Citrus 17-7.



6 Autumn Gore, Lakeland: The sophomore midfielder scored four goals with two assists to lead the Dreadnaughts girls soccer team to an 8-0 win over Santa Fe on Jan. 8.



7 Kailey Jo Smith, Lake Wales: The senior soccer forward scored four goals with one assist to lead Lake Wales to 6-2 win over Bartow on Jan. 10.



8 Keyonna Maultsby, Lake Region: The junior forward scored 22 points with 11 rebounds to lead Bolts girls basketball team over Frostproof 70-18 on Jan. 9.



9 Antonio Thomas, Auburndale: The senior heavyweight wrestler ran his undefeated streak to 34-0 before dropping a match to Toby Baker of Sarasota at the Massung Duals at McKeel Academy on Saturday. He went 9-1 on the week.



10 Chad Kirkman, Lakeland: The senior 160-pouind wrestler finished with a 7-1 record at the Coach Kelly Hurricane Challenge Dual meet at Manatee High School on Saturday, helping Lakeland to 5-3 team dual meet record. He is 24-6 on the year.
